Newborn care
We reinforce parenting skills for baby bathing, premature baby care, cord care, foreskin care and more. During this home visit, the nurse assesses the child and identifies potential risks.

Baby weight monitoring
Monitoring the weight of your baby is an important growth and health indicator. Based on the ABCDaire, the health coach nurse monitors babies’ weight and, assesses children development from 0 to 5 years old. She also ensures that their vaccination is up to date. We offer children vaccination at home as well.

Vaccination is the best way to protect your child against many contagious and dangerous diseases such as influenza, diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio, Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib), rotavirus, hepatitis B, measles, rubella, mumps, chickenpox, pneumococcal disease, meningococcal disease, and human papillomavirus (HPV). In addition, these vaccines are usually covered by Medicare. You only pay for consultation and / or home visit fees.
Home safety
Toddlers show great curiosity and lack of awareness of danger due to their development stage. Consequently, parents must anticipate the risks of domestic accidents and develop strategies to reduce them. If you live with children, the Health Coach nurse can assess your home to ensure safety as well as teach you emergency measures to adopt in the event of accidents.
Nursing prescription
Under certain conditions, the health coach nurse is authorized to prescribe medication. For example, when vitamins, thrush, or lice treatment are needed. After assessment, the nurse can refer you to a doctor if contraindications or health condition complication is detected.
