Overview & Importance of Integrative Medicine

Integrative medicine is gradually becoming a must in oncology support, particularly chemotherapy, with a growing proportion of patients using it (33% to 70% depending on the study, up to 80% in women and cancer survivors). It is therefore essential for nurses to acquire expertise in this field in order to ensure the safety, quality and personalization of care while collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
