Why you should take
THIS TRAINING?
Enteral and parenteral nutrition represents a major challenge in the management of patients who are malnourishedor at risk of malnutrition. This practical training, intended for nurses, theoric alterne intakes, demonstrationsand technical workshops on mannequins to enable the concrete acquisitionof knowledgeand know-how essential to the safety and quality of care, in an institution or at home.
- Enriched Learning Approach: The training combines in-depth theories and practical methods, enriched by years of nursing expertise in the field.
- Holistic management approaches: The emphasis is on communication, the bond of trust with the patient and teaching the patient.
- Professional Support: Access a virtual nurse for practical advice up to 3 months after your training.
- Practical workshop: The practical workshops are complementary in person, to perfect your parenteral feeding skills. These workshops are supervised and supervised by our Nurse expert.
🎯 OBJECTIFS DE LA FORMATION & COMPÉTENCES ATTENDUES
Educational objectives
-
Understand the physiology of digestion, the principles and indications of enteral and parenteral feeding.
-
Screening for undernutrition and participating in the nutritional assessment of the patient.
-
Explain the different routes of administration and criteria for choosing medical devices (probes, catheters, etc.).
-
Implement clinical and biological surveillance in real situations, detect complications early.
-
Respond effectively to emergency situations (obstruction, infection, refeeding syndrome, etc.).
-
Initiate an educational approach with the patient, the family, and the multidisciplinary team.
Skills developed
-
Prepare and administer enteral and parenteral nutritional solutions, in compliance with aseptic and safety rules.
-
Insert, maintain and monitor the various devices: nasogastric tubes, gastrostomys, central and peripheral venous catheters.
-
Use documentation and tracking tools to track and coordinate care.
-
Adapt care to each patient through simulation, clinical case study and analysis of concrete incidents.
-
Educate the patient and his caregivers, offer practical supports for autonomy at home.
-
Coordinate the care pathway with other medical and paramedical stakeholders.
